The weather is warming up and soon homegrown fruits and veggies will be available at local farmer’s markets. We’ve compiled a list of local markets to share with you:
River Church Farmer’s Market
The parking lot was bustling with vendors and shoppers during the launch of this local market season at River Church Farmer’s Market on Tuesday, April 21. This Canton market is located in the parking lot of River Church at 2335 Sixes Road on Tuesdays from 2-6pm. It is convenient for many living in the Sixes Living readership area. Waleska Farmer’s Market
Visit the Waleska Farmer’s Market on Thursdays from 3-7pm beginning May 7. This market is located in the Reinhardt Parking lot behind the North Cherokee Church of Christ. Find out more information at the Waleska Farmer’s Market Facebook page.
Woodstock Farmer’s Market
Saturday, May 2 marks the beginning of the market season for the Woodstock Farmer’s Market. This market is open every Saturday from 8:30am-12pm May to mid-December, and on Tuesdays 4:30-7:30pm May through October. You’ll find this market on Market Street in Downtown Woodstock, and you can visit them online here.
